5 Weeks Away From Home...Part 1

...17 states visited, 4 of which I had never been to before, 3 missions accomplished, 2 big changes, lots of new friends, so many memories made...and yet, there's no place like home.

We started out by heading to MO to pick up Bekah, stay the night with them and then travel to PA.

We drove overnight so that the babies would sleep.
                                                               Spending time with Pop

                                                                       And Gram.

We wore her out!

Relaxing on the deck.
The cousins came to visit one day so that they could see Ange and Bekah.
We went to a quilt show one day. Gram had entered a quilt so we got to see it and look at all the other quilts as well.
Danny Boy loved riding Pop's wheel chair.
We spend a week with Pop and Gram and then headed down to Fredericksburg to visit the cousins.

We went to Cabelas one evening to look around.
There are lots of fun memories associated with playing Dutch Blitz with the cousins. It's definitely a favorite.
We had a cook-out one night.

Roasting marshmallows
Emma had lots of admirers!
There were always arms ready to hold her.
Another day we went on a hike.

It started to rain so we ran the mile back to the car. Fun memories! :-)
We left the cousins and went to Steven and Bekah's house. We got to spend 2 days with them which was really fun!
We had gone blueberry picking with Gram so we sorted the blueberries with Bekah. Danny helped us and thought that it was great fun to put berries in Opa's mouth.
We went to the zoo on, what happened to be, the hottest day of the week. We were a very hot, sticky party, but it was still fun!
Eating our picnic lunch
Danny 'reading' about the insects. :-)
"Am I supposed to smile too?"
"I can do that!"
Hot and sleepy.

"But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;  To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them." Psalm 103:17-18
