Mother's Day Flowers and Pictures

From the St Louis Edition:

It's becoming a tradition that for Mother's Day we go shopping for a rose bush!  I picked out this lovely salmon colored rose!

Then we took some family pictures.

Mom sent me some flowers for Mother's Day! Two roses because I have 2 children!
They are SO beautiful!

A couple days later, they opened up more.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

When The Benners Came to Town...Part 5

Family Pictures!

  It's that time, again, family pictures!  :)

We Five Girls

  We wanted to get some of the nieces and nephew, but it was SO cold that day we decided not to. Especially after, having them sit through the family pictures.

Well, that's us for you. :)

"Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, Oh Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You." Psalm 33:20-22

Trains and Lunch!

  Dad has a customer who is building a miniature train track. So, he arranged to take Danny to see it as he loves trains. We all traipsed along. The exhibit is not quite finished, so we were privileged to be the first to see the show. Then we went to another customers place for lunch. And...as always, it's just fun to walk around downtown.

Waiting to go to the "upper room" to see the trains.

Mr. Shaw has quite a large collection of trains. Danny was amazed by them all.

It was really fun to see some of his different trains,
how they worked, and what noises they can make.

Waiting for everyone to get back together so we can go get lunch.

Away she goes.

Exploring downtown

Let's rest for a minute. :)

At Square Burger - They have REALLY good burgers. Danny was hungry.
As soon as he saw Mom's sweet potato fries. He said, Need some.

On our way back to the car. She was SO happy to walk around.

   The next few: Bekah was trying to do a photo shoot with Danny and Del on the courthouse steps. They were a little to distracted, but there are still some cute ones.

Such a silly child. Oh my, Danny Boy. What a face! :D

That's better Danny Boy.

Awww! So sweet!

They look like they are trying to get as far away from each other as
fast as they can. Actually, though, they really adore each other.

Back home. Now, it's time to relax. :)

"The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of His dwelling He looks
On all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 He fashions their hearts individually;
He considers all their works." Psalm 33:13-15

The Funnest Park In The World!

  After the Southwest Dairy, we had a picnic lunch at this fun park in Sulphur Springs. I remember loving it myself as a child. It was so much fun to take Danny and Delly, too. They loved it!

Exploring every inch.

Because it's much the best way of getting
 back to the top of the slide. :)

Danny and Mommy

His and his mommy's homeland.

Delly is such a busy little girl.

And very independent.

The Little Red Caboose

Danny loves trains and caboosies, as he calls them.

The grand finale - lunch.

"Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous!
For praise from the upright is beautiful.

Praise the Lord with the harp;
Make melody to Him with an
instrument of ten strings.

Sing to Him a new song;
Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth.

He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the good-
ness of the Lord." Psalm 33:1-5
