When The Benner's Came to Town...Part 2

The Southwest Dairy Museum!

Danny was not thrilled with the architecture of the museum. To quote his
thoughts as we approached the building: "This is eewie, eewie house."
 Haha! What a child.

Aunt Rach and Del

Danny and I

Mom, Danny, and Aunt Lizzy with a model cow.

I'm not sure why, but they wanted a picture of them not smiling.
Is that how farmers in the olden days took pictures? ;)

Much better. There were a lot of really neat displays
that, unfortunately, I don't have pictures of.

He wasn't sure what to think of this at first.

Of course, a visit to the Creamery would
not be complete without some ice cream.

Thoroughly enjoying his ice cream.

Del thoroughly enjoyed walking around the Creamery
while we ate our dose of cream for the day. :)

Taking our picture in the mirror.

They had iced cappuccinos, too.

Waiting on us grown-ups.

What a lot of milk those cows could give if they were only real. ;)

"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake His way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:1,2,6,7

When The Benners Came To Town...Part 1

The Walk!

All the grandkids love this new toy, The Speedway. :)

Off they go!

Delly and her Mommy.

What fun to have Uncle Ange carry her.

"Wait. I have to smile for this picture?" :)

Aunt Faith finally found a running partner.

Time for a little extra exercise, Aunt Faith.

Delly and Aunt Rach.

In memory of our own childhood.

"Danny's turn."

Pull, Danny, pull.

"Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma." Ephesians 5:1,2

A Little Tea Party

From the St Louis Edition:

Jessica's Grandma-in-law loves tea and tea rooms.  So Jessica and I decided to throw a tea party for her.

Gam loved her invitation!

The tea table...

We were the planners, organizers and two thirds of the party! haha
I think we make a good team!

We all had a very enjoyable time talking and relaxing together!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

Up to the Top of the Arch!

From the St Louis Edition:

Hannah came for her yearly visit this last March! Since we were already in Texas, we just brought her back with us.
We had a very fun time together gallivanting all over the city.
One of our excursions was up to the top of the Arch!

This is a replica of the little cart that takes us to the top of the Arch. It seat 5 people. Thankfully, we were given an extra ticket to accommodate the children.

In the cart...

Danny is looking out of the little windows at the top of the Arch!

The view from the top.

A view of the Cardinal's stadium.

The Courthouse Building.

This is what the inside of the Arch looks like at the top.

We were going to explore this beautiful church but a mass was going on.

Selfie to commemorate our visit.

Then a nice lady came along and took a picture for us.

Then we ate a picnic lunch before we toured the Courthouse.

The Dred Scott case took place at the courthouse here in St Louis.

 The Dome.

Hannah went up to the next level to see the courtrooms.

After the courthouse, we ran some errands and ended up making a giant circle around the city. The kids were worn out but we had a great time.

For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved. Ps 21:7
