Camping

From the St Louis Edition:

One weekend in August, we went on a camping adventure with Dustin and Jessica.
We didn't totally rough it because we stayed in a camper but it was rough enough for us. At least it was having 4 children there too.
We camped on Lake Carlyle in Illinois.

Our campsite.

The three children kept each other company quite well.

There was a playground not far away that the babies loved playing at.

Enjoying the fire and smores!

Oh yes, give me smore!
Del slept in a bassinet in our bed.

Saturday turned into a rainy sort of day, so we played games in the camper til it cleared some.  Then we went swimming.  It was rather cold at first but we quickly warmed up with exercise.

I had a hard time convincing Jessica to get into the water as she hates being cold.

Sunday, we packed up and drove to another area of the lake and had our own little worship service.

So pretty!

Beautiful Sophia

I love this one of the two children!

The scenery was lovely!

There is a sailboat association so there were lots of sail boats!

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? Psalms 8:3-4
