Touring

From the St Louis Edition:

While we were in Texas, we drove the 1 1/2 down to Wills Point to see Esther and Faith's house,  then over to see Samuel's camper trailer and back home. Total number of hours spent in the car:  3 hrs 10 min plus the time spent behind pokers!  =)

There is a little shop in Wills Point called...

Their house
We ate lunch around their little table.

We visited with our dear "girls"!

Then we toured the campus.

A turtle stopped us in our tracks.

The main building.

Mother and son in the lobby. :-)

Photos on the staircase...

and way up on the balcony.

We walked over to see the Fellowship Hall where Faith works in the kitchen.

This is what she wears in the kitchen.

Checking out the walk-in refrigerator.

The Chapel.

The Warehouse.

Danny ran most of the way back to the house.  It was good for him to stretch his legs before the car ride to Sam's place.

Danny entertained himself during the car ride using his car as a phone.

Texas Trip

From the St Louis Edition:

Steven had a couple days of vacation that he had to use before May.  What should we do with them?  Make a trip to Texas of course!
We had a wonderful visit and it ended much to quickly.
We left at 3:37 a.m. so that the babies would sleep a lot of the way making for a more peaceful drive.  They did well, but by the time we got there, Del was ready to be out of her car seat.  She and Danny thrived on all the attention from the aunts, uncles and grandparents!

When Danny saw this picture, his face lit up!

Danny quickly found the toys.  Uncle Sam was happy with him picking the tractor!  ;-)
He and Emma also enjoyed cooking together.

Danny loved playing, I mean washing dishes.  Haha

We enjoyed lots of volleyball, singing....

Steven looks like he's conducting us.
Danny and Emma played very well together most of the time.
and many games of Settlers of Catan.

Catanathon
Steven made waffles for breakfast.

That's a lot to make for 10 people.
They were yummy.

Steven was their friend when he pulled the popcorn out!

When we left Monday morning, Dad, Rach and Liz got up at 3 am to see us off.  And we drove down the lane at exactly 3:37 a.m.

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 ESV
