Reunion in St Louis

From the St Louis Edition:

A couple weeks ago, Pop and Gram and the People gathered from the four corners of the earth and met in St Louis. Except for Faith, that is. She had school and work and couldn't leave unfortunately.
Everyone trickled in as their schedules permitted and by the end of the week there were 16 people staying in our house.

We kept ourselves busy walking, cooking, playing with the kids and visiting.

"Don't shoot!" :D

Danny's walking on the ceiling.

We played lots of games.

Mom, Es and I played an epic game of Uno... if you didn't have the proper color then you had to draw til you got it. One hand took us over 2 hours. :D

We uno-ed a lot.

A game of Catan.

One afternoon after the kids went down for their nap, we pulled out Granny's china, whipped together scones and had a tea party!

Wednesday, we visited Old St Charles, strolled along the river and Mom treated us to ice cream,

A kind man stopped to take our picture.

Saying hi to Lewis and Clark.

Thursday, the rest of the crew showed up.
Watching dolphins with Opa was a big hit.

Friday evening, we had a cookout...and it wouldn't have been complete without volleyball!

Sam tried to prank a few people with the water fountain.

We were hungry!

Eating is a serious business.
A little photo shoot of the girls in their matching dresses.

Danny tried to get in on it but that didn't work to well.

Grammy and Opa babysat the kids while we played volleyball. Bubbles, juice and the playground were good distractions.

Friday was most everyone's last day. It was sad to say goodbye but we had a very fun week together.

To be continued...

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
