The Spirit of St Louis Airshow

From the St Louis Edition

Steven, Danny and I went to the airshow 2 weeks ago.  It was a very popular event with LOTS of traffic.  It took us at least an hour to get in and to leave!  But it was worth it and lots of fun!

This plane is Patty!

The helicopters demonstrated a rescue mission.

This is Skip Stewart flying the biplane.  He did lots of stunts including cutting a string that was very close to the ground.

This is Fat Albert, the cargo plane for the Blue Angels.  He can land and stop in 1500 ft!

They were very loud so we covered Danny's ear with our hand!
It was very warm and we were beginning to worry about Danny being in the sun too long, so we left before the airshow was completely done.  But we were able to watch the rest of it from the car!

Another Goodbye Party

Esther and Faith are leaving in a week and a half so we had a goodbye party to give everyone a chance to hangout with them and say 'goodbye'.

The Missouri Botanical Gardens

April showers bring April flowers! Spring is in the air!  

Saturday, we visited the Missouri Botanical Gardens.

There were many gorgeous colors...

There were elegant blossoms...

Unique textures...

Odd names...

The mouse plant.

Beautiful landscapes...

Artsy walkways... 

Lizards...

and Waterfalls.

There was also "mommy time"...

And "daddy time"...

There were great places for pictures...

And great places for crawling...

There was the timer way of taking a family picture...

And there were friendly people to take it for us!

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
