A Little Tea Party

From the St Louis Edition:

Jessica's Grandma-in-law loves tea and tea rooms.  So Jessica and I decided to throw a tea party for her.

Gam loved her invitation!

The tea table...

We were the planners, organizers and two thirds of the party! haha
I think we make a good team!

We all had a very enjoyable time talking and relaxing together!

Up to the Top of the Arch!

From the St Louis Edition:

Hannah came for her yearly visit this last March! Since we were already in Texas, we just brought her back with us.
We had a very fun time together gallivanting all over the city.
One of our excursions was up to the top of the Arch!

This is a replica of the little cart that takes us to the top of the Arch. It seat 5 people. Thankfully, we were given an extra ticket to accommodate the children.

In the cart...

Danny is looking out of the little windows at the top of the Arch!

The view from the top.

A view of the Cardinal's stadium.

The Courthouse Building.

This is what the inside of the Arch looks like at the top.

We were going to explore this beautiful church but a mass was going on.

Selfie to commemorate our visit.

Then a nice lady came along and took a picture for us.

Then we ate a picnic lunch before we toured the Courthouse.

The Dred Scott case took place at the courthouse here in St Louis.

 The Dome.

Hannah went up to the next level to see the courtrooms.

After the courthouse, we ran some errands and ended up making a giant circle around the city. The kids were worn out but we had a great time.

Spring Flowers

From the St Louis Edition:

I'm so ready for spring and it has been tantalizing me with little tastes of warmth for a while but now, I think, it has arrived. With it has come wild violets, dandelions and bright tulips.

Violets!

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen

"Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God:...Praise our God, all you His servants, and you that fear Him, both small and great...Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reineth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints...Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb."
