Parks

From the St Louis Edition:

Taking walks and going to parks is what we do when Faith comes to visit!  We went to 4 different parks with her!

At one of the parks near us, there is an exercise course so Faith had to try it out.

Another day, we had a picnic with Jessica.

Aunt Faith Comes to Visit

Faith was able to come up and visit us for about a week and a half in May!  It was great having her here!

We get a vegetable share every week from a farmer.  We have been getting tons of greens and sometimes they look like weeds. We joke about how they must pull weeds out of their yard up and send them in the farm share.  Well, we did find grass!  haha

Happy Birthday!

From the St Louis Edition:

Danny Boy turned 2!  

We had a slight storm that evening, but it knocked the power out for the rest of the day.  Thankfully, we were still able to cook, so we could still celebrate Danny's birthday!

We had pancakes with chocolate chips, cinnamon whipped cream, fruit and maple syrup.

Daddy made a special pancake just for Danny!

It was so funny to watch him blow his candles out!

He ate almost all of it! And loved it!

He's really good at opening presents and very much enjoys it!

Happy Birthday, Danny Boy!  We love you, our sweet, precious, happy little ball of cuteness, ingenuity and fun!  You're a ham and our entertainment!

Spring!

From the St Louis Edition:

It's so lovely to see the trees begin to bud and to see the first flowers bloom after the winter.

I planted tulips in the fall and was delighted when they actually grew and bloomed this spring!

The Lewis and Clark Museum

From the St Louis Edition:

Hannah came up to visit in March.  While she was here, we toured the Lewis and Clark Museum.

The museum had a little village and camp area.

We really enjoyed learning more about Lewis and Clark.  There was a video of the journey that we watched as well.

Having a visit from Hannah was a treat!  We talked a lot, she washed a lot of dishes and we just had a  generally nice time together.
